What’s the cost for Career Programs?
Articulated Credit: Tuition, textbooks, materials and feeds are at no cost for all enrolled students.
Career Academies: Tuition and fees are waived for eligible courses for eligible high school students residing in the ACC Service Area. Students may take up to 60 Credit Hours or completion of an Associate’s Degree. Eligible courses for tuition and fee waivers include Core Curriculum, workforce, and foreign language courses.
Dual Credit tuition and fee waivers do not cover textbook and material fees, with the exception of FAST students. Students must purchase their textbooks and First Day Access textbook fees unless otherwise designated as a FAST student. Your high school counselor should know if you qualified for the FAST program and can tell you more about it.
PTECH: Tuition, textbooks, materials and feeds are at no cost for all PTECH students while they are enrolled in the program.
Do my credits transfer?
Career Programs classes are intended for workforce entry, not university transfer. However, some credits may be applied toward an associate degree program. Certificates are intended to be stacked into an AAS – Associate of Applied Sciences pathway. Talk with your ACC Career Programs Advisor and your High School Counselor before registering for classes you intend to transfer. It’s important to verify course transferability with your four-year institution.
