Jumpstart your career in the electrical industry with ACC’s Commercial Electrical Construction Program. High school students earn college credit while gaining hands-on experience in commercial electrical construction, working with the same tools and techniques used by industry professionals. Through a partnership between AISD, Trio Electric, and ACC, students take courses in electrical safety, theory, and commercial wiring, while also participating in a cooperative apprenticeship program for real-world experience. With practical training, this program prepares students for entry-level positions in the high-demand field of commercial electrical construction.
Eligibility Requirements
- This program is designed for rising high school sophomore
- Rising high school juniors may apply and complete the program
- “TSI complete” standing is not required.
Program Requirements
- Earn at least a C in each ACC course.
- Maintain an overall ACC grade point average of 2.0 or higher.

- 4+ semesters
