Get ahead by gaining real-world skills, earning college credits, and potentially graduating high school with a career-ready certificate in hand. Whatever path you take, unlock your potential and create a future full of opportunities!

What’s the Cost?

Tuition and fees are waived for in-district students. Out-of-district students qualify for significant discounts and pay just $150 per course. These discounts are good for up to 12 courses, after which regular tuition and fees are assessed for both groups. Textbooks and course materials are not included.

Do my Credits Transfer?

Career Academy classes are intended for workforce entry, not university transfer. However, some credits may be applied toward an associate degree program. Certificates are intended to be stacked into an AAS – Associate of Applied Sciences pathway. Talk with your ACC Career Programs Advisor and your High School Counselor before registering for classes you intend to transfer.

Ready to Get Started?

Follow these steps to start working on your career certificate:

  1. Meet with your high school counselor to review requirements.
  2. Apply to the Career Academy that interests you most.
  3. Submit your online ACC application.
  4. Complete the online orientation and pass the assessment at the end with a score of 80% or higher.
  5. Register for Career Academy classes.
